John 20:28 · NKJV
Thomas Called Jesus "My God." Jesus Didn't Correct Him.
0:42 Short
What does John 20:28 say?
Thomas refused to believe until he touched the wounds. When he saw the risen Jesus, he said: "My Lord and my God!" (John 20:28, NKJV).
A first-century monotheistic Jew called Jesus "my God" to His face. If Thomas was wrong, that was the moment for a correction. Jesus commended him instead: "blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
