What the Qur'an Says About Jesus That It Says of No Other Prophet

The Qur'an gives Jesus titles it gives no other prophet: the Messiah, the Word of Allah cast to Mary, a spirit from Him (Surah 4:171). Born of a virgin. Miracles from the cradle. Taken up alive to heaven.

The New Testament takes those same clues and completes the picture: the Word that came from God is God. Ask your Muslim friend, gently: if Jesus is only a prophet, why is He the only one called God's Word and God's Spirit?
