What does 1 John 4:15 say?

The Apostle John gave three tests so believers could KNOW.

1. Do you confess that Jesus is the Son of God? (1 John 4:15)
2. Is there a change in how you relate to sin - do you hate it, confess it, turn from it? (1 John 2:3-4)
3. Do you love God's people, imperfectly but genuinely? (1 John 3:14)

None of them require perfection. All of them require direction.
