Afraid of Dying? What to Do With That Fear
0:45 Short
What does Hebrews 2:15 say?
The Bible doesn't ask you to pretend death isn't real. Jesus came to "release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage" (Hebrews 2:15). Name your fear, bring it to God in prayer, and if it shows up as panic attacks, constant health fears, or sleepless nights, talk to your doctor or a licensed counselor. Getting help is wise, not a lack of faith.
If you're struggling: heaven is never a reason to end your life. U.S.: call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or text HOME to 741741.
