How It Applies Today
Joel encourages believers that God can restore what has been lost and that it is never too late to return to Him with a sincere heart. The promise of the outpouring of the Spirit shows God's desire to be present with His people in a personal way. The Day of the Lord reminds all to be prepared and to live in readiness before God.
